Everyone has heard of Confucius but how many people know what he actually was thinking about and what he actually has said during his existence? Yes, you are right, not many.
His name, Confucius, is the latinized form of the Chinese characters, K ́ung Foo-tsze, meaning, “The master, K ́ung.” The bearer of this name was born of an ancient and distinguished family in the district of Tsow, in the present province of Shen-tung, China, B. C. 551.
To understand more about Confucius and his sayings (quotes) I’ve found a book in the public domain that I now share with you that’s full of wisdom nuggets. Some nuggets in “The sayings of Confucius pdf” are easy to digest, some of them – I wouldn’t say so.
The edition that I could manage to find comes from The Harvard Classics. 1909–14.
It was edited by Charles W. Eliot.
And it was First Published in New York by P.F. Collier & Son, 1909–14.
Here’s some of the quotes that you’ll find in this great book.
